Nonna’s Biscotti

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
2 cup sugar
6 eggs
1-1/2 tsp almond extract
5-1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1-1/2 to 2 cups diced mixed candied fruit

Recipe

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and extract.

Whisky salt, flour, and baking powder. Add to wet ingredients and add fruit.

Refrigerate the dough for an hour. Then, split into 4 and bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes, slice and bake again.
